Survey of Diversity in U.S. Law Schools
Iowa Momentum Plus

Project Overview

The University of Iowa’s Law, Health Policy & Disability Center (LHPDC) is surveying the 200 ABA-approved law schools about diversity at their law schools.  The information will be used for research on law school diversity and will be made publicly available via LHPDC’s website.  The project is funded, in part, by an Iowa Momentum Plus grant from the University of Iowa.

Currently, resources are available for some law school applicant groups, including racial and ethnic minorities, gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered, and international LLM candidates. The intent of LHPDC’s survey is systematically to gather similar, relevant information for a wider range of interest groups, and to make that information freely available to the public.
